Winter Weather Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning (see below for details) for our area beginning at 7:00 pm this evening (Tuesday, March 6th) through early Thursday morning.  At this time, we are anticipating the closure of the Office tomorrow (Wednesday March 7, 2018).  As always, your Management team will be working remotely to ensure that the community is informed and our after-hours answering service will be in contact with us should you have an urgent matter. 

Stay safe and please make plans to avoid road travel on Wednesday if possible.

…WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 3 AM

EST THURSDAY…

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to

14 inches are expected.

* WHERE…In New Jersey, Sussex county. In Pennsylvania, Carbon

and Monroe counties.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 3 AM EST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel will be very difficult to

impossible during the evening commute on Wednesday. Be prepared

for significant reductions in visibility at times. Snow will

probably accumulate at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour for

several hours, especially during the day Wednesday. With this

being a heavy, wet snow, it is likely that trees and power lines

could be brought down from the weight of the accumulating snow,

resulting in power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather

conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you

must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your

vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
